Camille J. Born

Having told stories of her personal ups and downs to her friends for years, Camille began telling stories professionally when she realized that it was a way to put her “gift of gab” to work! Her face and hands are naturally expressive and her style keeps her listeners entranced. She has been delighting audiences with stories for more than 10 years.  She is a member of the Champaign-Urbana Storytelling Guild and the National Storytelling Network.

"Could Be Worse”

 is her personal motto, adopted years ago after a long stretch of time filled with personal and family hardships.  Whenever things are bad, she remembers that they could be even worse. She tries to be happy for what she has today and takes joy in her life’s experiences….even the bad ones.
